Mapleview Healthcare Clinic
Since 2020, our Clinic has been delivering care in-person and virtually (as did most health care providers during Covid). Virtual care was only meant to be a bandaid solution. It can’t replace the real, in-person care you receive from a doctor at one location. With virtual care, continuity of care is non-existent, yet continuity of care is vital to you and your families overall health.
As we’re sure you are well aware, the existing walk-in clinics are usually at capacity hours before closing time, and family physicians aren’t taking on new patients. What does this mean for you? Long wait times at crowded clinics, and even using the emergency department for non-urgent care, simply because you have nowhere else to go.
Our team took a good look at the health needs of our community. In Barrie alone, over 52,000 of you are without a family physician. That doesn’t even begin to include surrounding communities like Innisfil or Oro. It’s a crisis that isn’t going to get better anytime soon. So we had a challenge to face, because this is not acceptable for the health of our community. With you as the motivating driver, we developed a brand NEW INNOVATIVE MODEL OF CARE!
Starting Monday, May 5, we will be open 7-days-a-week for walk-in, or by appointment (even open late until 8:00 p.m. Monday & Tuesday evenings)

Wed to Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Many of you know us as Mapleview Healthcare Clinic at QuickPill Pharmacy. We are now simplifying our brand as QuickPill Pharmacy and Clinic (but you can always still find us by searching Mapleview Healthcare Clinic). Change takes time! We are of course at the same address and here to provide you with exceptional healthcare to the community of Barrie and its surroundings. About Us
QuickPill Clinic & Pharmacy (formerly Mapleview Healthcare Clinic) has been meeting the healthcare needs of the residents of Barrie and beyond since November 2020. The Clinic is located in the South end of Barrie, at 555 Mapleview Drive West with lots of free parking and accessible via Barrie Transit. While we did offer virtual care for a short while, we now offer only more comprehensive in-person appointments with a physician. If you would like to see a physician, you are welcome to walk-in or easily use our online booking system to skip the wait! Barrie is a growing city and the limitations on family physicians are maxed. To address the need for physician care, our team has closed virtual care, and extended hours to 7 days a week
